First Line Fridays #6: Seven Days in June by Tia Williams

Happy Friday! I hope that everyone has been having a fantastic week! Time for another installment of  First Line Fridays! I have a book club meeting tomorrow night with The Black Romance Book Club to discuss “Seven Days in June” by Tia Williams. Of course, it only made sense for the first line to come from this book.

My First Line: “In the year of our Lord 2019, thirty-two year old Eva Mercy nearly choked to death on a piece of gum.”

What’s the first line of the last book you finished? Share it in the comments. Can’t wait to hear from you. Have a wonderful weekend and as always, happy reading!
