First Line Friday #7: “A History of Wild Places” by Shea Ernshaw

Friday is here! I’m definitely ready for the three-day weekend. Any who, time for another installment of  First Line Fridays! I am preparing for a book club meeting in the Peanut Butter Taco Facebook group. This week’s first line comes from our January book club pick, ” A History of Wild Places” by Shea Ernshaw.

My First Line: “Death always has a way of leaving breadcrumbs, little particles of the past that catch and settle and stain.”

What’s the first line of the book you’re currently reading? If you are in a book club, what book will you be discussing in January? Let me know in the comments.
